Warranty and Return Policy
South Florida Sport Aviation takes pride in our workmanship and will cover all product defects.
All our leather products are handmade and unique.
For example: if you purchase a side panel and purchase the seats later from our catalog, we cannot guarantee a color match even if it's the same color. This is because our products are natural hand groomed bovine leather and tanning colors can vary from one batch of hides to another. We highly suggest purchasing an entire interior bundle to avoid slight color matching issues.
LIMITED LEATHER WARRANTY
Our limited warranty covers defects in material or workmanship one year from the date of purchase. A dated sales receipt must be included to show your product was purchased within the warranty period.
WARRANTY SERVICE DETAILS
Once your product is inspected and a defect is found due to the manufacturer's workmanship, we will replace your product with the same style, or an equivalent style of equal value based on the purchase price. We cannot guarantee that the same style will be available for your replacement. If this is the case, you will be able to select a replacement. This warranty is void if the leather product has been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorized service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship, or if a valid receipt is not included. At this time, South Florida Sport Aviation might be able to repair damaged leather products. This will be determined by South Florida Sport Aviation. We will replace or repair items if the conditions of this warranty are met.
CUSTOM LEATHER AND THREAD ORDERS OR SPECIAL ORDERS
South Florida Sport Aviation defines custom leather and thread orders or special orders as the following: any order that is not in our general stock. Our general stock can be viewed on our website and be easily ordered. Custom leather and thread orders or special orders are created exclusively for you. This will require a consultation with our sales representative.
SPECIAL CUSTOM LEATHER AND THREAD ORDERS OR SPECIAL ORDERS CANNOT BE CANCELLED ONCE PLACED.
The lead for custom work orders is typically two months. If you are unwilling to wait 8-12 weeks DO NOT MAKE A CUSTOM ORDER.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
The lead time for our out of stock items is generally two months. You will be notified by email if your kit is not in stock and will have to confirm that you are willing to wait.
South Florida Sport Aviation reserves the right to review each order and determine eligibility for canceling, replacing and or repairing of all products. Some returns are accepted with a 50% restocking fee. If South Florida Sport Aviation allows customers to return leather products because the material was not what they expected, we have very little chance of selling that leather product again given its uniqueness. It is VITAL that the customer is firmly committed to the order when placing it.
All returns MUST have a valid return authorization number (RA#) printed on the outside of the box before they are returned. All returned merchandise that does not have a valid return authorization will be refused.
All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box, and must include all packing material, and accessories.
RMA defective products can be repaired. This is to be determined by South Florida Sport Aviation.
Customers assume all shipping and handling fees.
RECEIPT OF GOODS
Once you receive your materials please verify its contents. To do this, please check to see if all your items are present, check for imperfections, a packing list if supplied, etc. South Florida Sport Aviation is not responsible for any material damage caused by shipping. A full inspection of your materials is VITAL as soon as the shipment is delivered.
In the unlikely event of damage due to shipping, please notify South Florida Sport Aviation immediately. Photographs must be taken of the damage and a case will be opened through the shipping company. Failure to inspect the materials voids all warranties.
High dollar items are shipped with insurance. South Florida Sport Aviation has a small window to report shipping damage and apply for insurance of any damaged items. Again, it is imperative that a full inspection of goods received is completed.
